So many things happened for the past 3 weeks that I haven had time for a breather...
Finally everything is more or less settled, and I am a happy soul now with 12 hours of sleep on Deepavali! =)
Had my D&D on Deepavali eve at Shangri-La hotel!
Theme was Rock Star, and the night was fabulous with alot of fun, games and booze (though I'm not a fan of that)!

Out of the 15 or 20 (can't really remember) lucky draw prizes, 2 actually came from my table! And just when I was saying I want that LV card holder, the winner was announced and it's the colleague to my right!
Then, the next winner was announced and it's the colleague to my left!
And, when the next winner was announced, it's 0379 when mine was 0378!!!!

Riders Cafe at Turf City
Went to Riders Cafe...A place which I heard my ex-colleague mentioned before, but have not had chance to explore...
A place without aircon (except the restroom), so dress light if wanna proceed there especially if the weather is like today...super hot & sunny!

I've always love horseshoe shaped stuff....so much that I always get my horseshoe earrings from Perlini Silver whenever it is available...

Pic is small so can't really see the horse....we were seated near to the stable so could smell a little of the horses!
Fried brie!
The cheese simply oozes out after a cut...slurpz!
Was quite skeptical about the fried brie initially.....coz it can be nice, and can be SUPER awful as well....luckily this was really nice! Yum!
Fried squid with wasabi sauce....
The wasabi taste was very very light....and the squid is very nicely done!
Deadly chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice-cream
I finally understood why it is named as the "Deadly chocolate cake" when it was served..the portion is HUGE....really huge...
Not too sweet, but taste like just a normal chocolate cake....
Chit chat for quite awhile at Riders, and when we finally decided to move, Jun suggested going to Udders since we were in the west area.....
Another place which I have heard of, wanted to try but have not had the chance to do so....
Going to Udders reminds me of Dearie Ann....coz it's just opposite her house! She is so so so enjoying her life in Australia..so envy! I would really love to work in Australia / Taiwan if I have the chance...
Tried looking for such kind of opportunities as well, but didn't manage to find any good ones so far...
