Dearie Qian's wedding was nearly 2 weeks ago....and the lucky gal is still in Greece with Bernard for their honeymoon! Awwww envy! The wedding banquet was held at Pan Pacific Hotel Ballroom..the exact same one as my cousin's! Super nice wedding portrait!

It's Dearie Qian's big day today!
After witnessing their ROM ceremony last Sept, at the blink of an eye came their traditional wedding ceremony! Even at this moment when I am typing this entry, I still can't believe that she will be "officially" married after tonight...
Was looking my photos, and I found one that was probably the first few which we took together...one of my first friends in Uni, we definitely came a long way!
At Harry's, CHIJMES
Went Genting with my team mates!! Was a really fun trip!
The coach left SG at 10.30pm and we reached at about 5am! Was super early as check-in is only at 12 noon....so we went to Old Town for breakfast, before getting a room at about 8.30am...

They were so keen to take the suicide drop machine which I was super scared abt! But we started with other rides first, like the pirate ship..
Then, we saw this haunted pirate house and decided to go in....
Hon came with me coz a colleague couldn't make at last min so took over his seat..

There was absolutely NOTHING for this ride....it went through a short dark tunnel and thats about it....No pop up pirates or whatsoever....and this ride left us baffled!

This, looks small and manageable, but I got the most kick out of this mini rollercoaster!! really pretty scary~~!
The carousel lookalike...
This spinning chain of chairs, looks so docile with all the little kids playing, but it was SUPER scary! I was just holding on the the chains of my hair and refused to move during the ride...while the rest of them let go of their hands etc....
I told LS that "if that little kid can do it, so can I right!"...and she replied me "don't you think that you dare to do alot of crazy stuff when you were young and not now?!"

The suicide drop was the most exciting ride for all of them, but I actually don't feel that much adrenalin rush as compared to the mini roller coaster! weird huh...
It was pretty fun though, being able to be at the top and an excellent view of Genting Highlands!

John and LS were crazy in the tea cup...they spin until Carl wanted to puke when he looked at their "Storm in a tea cup".. haha!

Had the set meal....was not bad for some dishes!
After a good rest, it was time for dinner!! Had it at some Hainan cafe...
Went walked around the shopping area after dinner..and we went back to the theme park again!!
Quite fun to sit and enjoy the cold breeze..
This was a whole new experience at night! Much faster!

The next morning, we went back to Shangai 10 for Dim Sum brunch!

The Dim Sum was so-so and the service sucks big time...They dropped the dim sum and there's no words of apologies...
The worst part was, we were served uncooked siew mai...!!!

So raw! We did not order half cooked beef for goodness sake!
It was lucky that Ning saw and stopped us from eating..coz I'm the type that will just pop the whole siew mai into my mouth and will not see it if not for her..
And the staff couldn't be bothered...
We saw a statue of liberty on motorbike!
And ended up there!
Our 2D1N trip ended rather quickly and it was time to head back home!

The theme park is much smaller than what I had imagined as the previous time I went my brother was still sucking his pacifier and he is already 17 yrs old! Haha...but had a really great time there! =)
A good idea for a short weekend getaway!
