Had a nice and quiet dinner for my 24th birthday!
Hon loves to bring me to places which I've never been to, but he is always cracking his head for new and good places coz I've simply been to too many!
This time round, we walk and walk and walk around many places but he refused to reveal a tweeny bit of info on where we will be dining at (he has learnt his lesson coz I am just trying to trick him into telling me and spoil his surprise for me, of coz spoiling my surprise too but I didnt mind that..haha!)
So we walked past esplanade which was surrounded by the police/cisco officers as it was the APEC period...and then walk towards Fullteron...
This is my office area and Im super familiar so I already guess it has got to be either a restaurant in Fullerton or at One Fullerton...
So we walk and walk and walk....and passed by Fullerton...and hon still refused to tell me it's One Fullerton..until we walk down the ever-so-familiar escalator to One Fullerton and this ever-so-familiar route to a staircase...
A sign says "This way to Forlino".
I saw and turned to look at him. "Hmm, I have been here before for lunch lei...." And his face immediately fell!

We are both the kind who are lazy to plan/decide and want to just take whichever is the simplest..so we both took the set meal...

Looking at the pic now makes me drool!! I never knew goose liver can be that good!! MUST TRY!

This is also super yummy.....definitely a must try also!! Of coz, how bad can the pasta be in a famous Italian restaurant ?

That's gotta be the best Tiramisu I have ever tried so far!! Of coz cant compare with the real stuff from Paris or Italy that Yuanwen had tried, but it's stilll the best in SG! =)
My birthday cake sliced!
The service is really good...they actually helped me cut the cake, and even decorated the plates which were used for the sliced cakes!
Hon's molten lava chocolate cake...
Its like the warm chocolate cake from Ricciotti! very chocolately, definitely a love for chocolate lovers!
At the main entrance..
A very good dining experience, the ambience is really great, totally different from what it is like during lunch time...
Dinner is more quiet, romantic, and it will prob be better when the IRs are fully constructed!
Best part is, there is ONE-FOR-ONE set meal with UOB credit cards!! We didnt even know that and hon had wanted to pay with Amex card, but the person was checking the card and asked if it's the UOB-Amex card coz there's 1-for-1 with UOB card..woots! =D Saved lots!
