They brought me to this Japanese restaurant call Akira (reminded me of the electronics brand!) at Link Hotel, which is a nice boutique hotel at tiong bahru.... =)
Considering the fact that I just went to Kushin Bo to eat last weekend, I have been eating too much good food lately!
We went for the buffet dinner, coz apparently they have really have real good food! With the same price, we can have much more salmon sashimi (which we 3 love!) as compared if we were to eat at Sushi tei!

The salmon sashimi is really fresh! We had sooooo much of it til we were wondering if the waitress was going to stop serving us! =X
Tempura Ebi!
The Ebi Tempura tasted real good too! Not a big fan of Tempura after my Japan trip coz I had so much over there that I felt real sick of it.....but the one here is good!
Teppanyaki Hotate...nice!
*clockwise - Tamago, fried oysters, teppanki unagi and teriyaki chicken
Tamago is so good that cia sweetie ordered a 2nd serving, I didnt try the oysters coz nv liked oyster taste, unagi is not bad, and teriyaki chicken is very crispy and nice!
For a moment, i wondered if the restaurant catered the portion to the group size coz we had 3 pieces of tamago, 3 pieces of Ebi etc....but apparently that's not the case coz their serving size is for 3, and we happened to go in 3s..haha =b
*clockwise - crabmeat ball & fried hotate, salmon teppanyaki, saba fish, fried ebi & chicken
Cia loves the crabmeat ball, dele loves the hotate, while i find the fried ebi good! =)

Soup in a teapot....
The soup is served in a teapot, and we drink using the small cups provided..super cute! the soup tasted not bad too! The Kami Nabe was so-so only though, as the vege in the soup was not cooked and soup was pretty tasteless...

Had a really good catch-up session with them, chatted non-stop from gossips to anything else under the sun the second we met up and til the moment we parted...haha....! I guess, we really know each other well and certain things, only they would understand...
