Haven been blogging for soooooooo long! Shall blog abt working at Sitex 1st! hee!
Think its quite a very good experience working at the Sitex IT exhibition though its super tiring...a really different experience from all the kinds of jobs which i took up in the past..i love working at roadshows now! anyone have any lobangs?! =b
The company which i worked for is named Gajar International (S) Pte Ltd...its actually a company set up by NUS students (and they have juz graduated) under the incubator program which their sch has..think this program helps asipring enterpreneurs to set up biz and can have their office located in the sch at a smashing low rental rate..
Thats our company's total strength! After 4 days of facing each other from morning til night, we became quite shou with each other liao..haha! Im on especially good terms with those working on the same side of the booth as me..hee!
Our company had 2 colleagues Emily & Patty who came in from Taiwan's headquaters and worked with us...they are super friendly and asked me to go look for them if im going to Taipei for a vacation & they will bring us around!
Sales for 1st 2 days were quite bad...maybe coz its a thursday & friday so not much crowd...or maybe its coz our booth's fengshui not that good..haa..coz i went over to the other parts of the exhibition hall and there were alot of ppl at the booths near the entrance..
Ours is more towards the back and the aisle infront of my counter is always empty...so i ended up going around to give out flyers more than staying at my booth to promote our products to customers..
3rd day was my dearie ann's 20th birthday! Happy birthday gal! =D
But felt quite bad we couldnt help her to celebrate coz of work..so we bought a cake for her 1st! Further celebrations are postponed to today..hee! Haven gotten the pics we took so will upload it later! =)

Too bad Clydi couldnt join us coz she had to leave for Vietnam on the 27th...Quite weird that someone actually goes to countries like vietnam for a vacation rite..ahha..but coz her dad works there currently so she went over with her family to look for him...

My 1st time ever wearing jeans after such looooonnnngggg time! My uni frens have never ever seen me in jeans b4 coz i simply hate to wear them! im a skirts person! =) But they were telling me actually i look quite ok in jeans too...hee!

Shijie is qian's elder bro...but is also from our junior og topaz..saw quite a few merlot and topaz ppl are working at Sitex! We met up after end of work on the last day to makan and chitchat abit! =)

Besides the 5 of us working for Gajah, Shijie worked for Seagate...Valerie & Karen worked for Creative...Jianshun worked for Eastgear while Hongwei worked for some IT mag...Jianshun kept suaning us coz his pay is the highest among us..hopefully nx time got chance to work together for the same company! definitely will be fun! =D
And some gossips...there's this well-known company selling health products which has a booth juz diagonally across ours...and their guys are so desperados!! keep going around knowing gals...
There's one who chatted with me and actually he wanted to know qian...
Him: hey whats ur fren's name ah? *Pointing to qian*
Me: Ooh sorry lor she attached liao~~
Him: Iya attached liao can be frens oso ma! (makes me so disgusted!)
Me: haa u can forget it la! her bf is working here oso lor!
Him: Is it...then whats her name? (still not giving up!)
Me: You wan noe ah? Go ask her urself lor!
Ya i was super diaoz la...then another guy frm the same company actually chatted up with one of my colleagues from taiwan and even asked her out for dinner! o_O DESPO!!!
She's like staying for that 4 days only lor and he oso interested in her..keep coming over to chat with her and gave her his namecard when she doesnt wanna give him her contact no...We keep gossiping abt the guys frm that company when we saw them coming over..haa! =b
Anyway...had lots of fun working for that 4 days..though im kinda sick of train now..imagine me sitting from boon lay to expo everyday can! *faint!* But really enjoyed myself lots...and i love all ppl frm Gajar!
Will get to see them again coz we wil be having a buffet session sometime in near future when our pay are available for collection...looking fwd to seeing them again! =D
